Bonsai Societies of Florida Bonsai Societies of Florida (BSF), founded in 1973, is a state coordinating organization having about 800 members who also belong to one of the 28 member societies, member societies at large and study groups, or who have chosen to belong as unaffiliated Members at Large. Bonsai-Club Deutschland e.V. (German Bonsai Society) Der Bonsai-Club Deutschland e.V. wurde 1978 in Heidelberg gegründet und hat heute über 3000 Mitglieder im In- und Ausland, die zum großen Teil in regionalen Arbeitskreisen organisiert sind. Golden State Bonsai Federation The Golden State Bonsai Federation (GSBF) is an educational organization formed from member bonsai clubs in California. Internet Bonsai Club The Internet Bonsai Club is comprised of a Mailing List and a Newsgroup dedicated to the Art of Bonsai. Mid-America Bonsai Alliance The Mid-America Bonsai Alliance (MABA) is an eight state organization made up of local bonsai clubs and societies. Its purpose is to foster the sharing of knowledge and talent among the clubs and states of the Midwest, as well as to encourage the use of native species in the art of bonsai. MABA also promotes public awareness and appreciation of bonsai. In addition, member clubs and societies receive the MABA quarterly newsletter "The Alliance." To further the goals of education and communication, MABA holds an impressive symposium in association with one of its member clubs. MABA is a non-profit organization. National Bonsai Foundation Supporting the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington D.C. The Greater New Orleans Bonsai Society Founded by noted bonsai authority Vaughn Banting in 1972. Has developed into one of the most active bonsai clubs in the U.S. GNOBS is proud to have members who have their trees displayed in the National Arboretum and the Weyerhaeuser Pacific Rim Bonsai collection as well as other prestigious sites. Several of our members have received national and international awards, and many have been invited as guest lecturers to other organizations and conventions. The Northern Ireland Bonsai Society Established in 1986, the Society exists to promote the art of Bonsai in Northern Ireland. |
